They're about all Cats' LB can't handle

LEXINGTON, KY.University of Kentucky senior linebacker Danny Trevathan had just played about as good a game as any one man can. He had 17 tackles, one for loss, a forced fumble that put his team in position to score and a diving interception that kept the opponent out of the end zone just before halftime.

But the Wildcats lost that game last week to Mississippi State. It was UK’s fifth defeat in six games and kept Trevathan’s team winless in Southeastern Conference play. So, despite his own herculean effort, Trevathan went back to his apartment last Saturday night, shut his bedroom door and stewed in solitude.

“He takes losing very serious. He just takes it to heart, very personally,” said UK running back CoShik Williams, who is Trevathan’s cousin and roommate. “Even when our family’s around, he tries to be happy, but it’s hard for him. They tell him he played a great game. But still to Danny, if we lose it’s bad.” FOR MORE PLEASE CLICK BELOW
