LEESBURG — Despite having 17 staples in his head, Leesburg High offensive coach Damon Eikenhorst (kneeling) exhorts his offensive line during last Friday's 20-10 loss to Orlando Evans.
Eichorst had been airlifted when he and two other coaches — Curt Bradley and Alan Hardcastle — were involved in a serious crash Oct. 14 en route to a game against South Sumter.
Below left, Leesburg's Manny Nelson (20) is stopped shy of a first down by the Evans defense.
The Yellow Jackets (6-2) will try to bounce back tonight at home against South Lake.
Other games this evening include Lake Minneola at East Ridge; Eustis at Tavares; Leesburg First Academy at Oviedo Master's Academy; Umatilla at Mount Dora; Keystone Heights at South Sumter; and The Villages at Jasper Hamilton County.
