Noor Davis admitted, will visit for UW game: A few weeks back, Leesburg High School (Leesburg, Fla.) star Noor Davis received the piece of mail that every Stanford applicant hopes to receive – an acceptance letter. The Bootleg caught up with Davis earlier this week to discuss his Stanford admission, as well as his official visit plans.

Noor Davis found out he had earned admittance to Stanford late last month. 

“I want to say about two weeks ago, it was in September, late September,” Davis said. “That was very exciting news for my family and me, and we went out to celebrate afterward.”

The Stanford coaching staff gave Davis a heads-up that the good news was forthcoming, but Davis and his family waited until the official letter arrived to celebrate the occasion.
