LEESBURG - The (5-1, 1-1) Leesburg Yellow Jackets enter this Fridays contest on the Orlando Sentinel Super 16 High School Football Poll watch list. Their opponent Friday night from neighboring Sumter County, (5-1) Bushnell South Sumter High School is ranked #16 in the poll. The Raiders are also the #5th ranked team in the Class 4A State Football Poll.
Leesburg will travel to Bushnell to take on Inman Sherman's Raiders for its fourth road game in five weeks. The Jackets only loss on the season was to Clermont East Ridge High School at the Dungeon on the campus of East Ridge. East Ridge is listed on the Super 16 Watch List this week.

2. Lake Brantley (6-0): Potent Patriots are chasing first district title since 2007. Next game: Friday at No. 7 Olympia (4-2), 7:30.
3. DeLand (4-1): 99-yard pick-six by DB David Taylor turned 21-7 win over Neptune Beach Fletcher (4-2). Next game: Friday vs. Deltona (0-6), 7.
4. Mainland (4-1): Defense on tear with four shutouts, three in a row. Next game: Friday vs. Palm Bay (3-2), 7.
5. Osceola (5-1): Kowboys have put up 42 points in their past four wins. Next game: Oct. 20 at Harmony (2-4), 7:30.

Class of 2001 Leesburg High School
Ashley Beyer is a freelance photographer who will be working with the Carver Heights Quarterback Club this season. She started photographing as a hobby when she was 13 with a manual SLR Canon film camera. In 1998 she received her first automatic Canon SLR camera. In the begining as a hobby photographer her cousins and friends babies were her favorite subjects. Now, she is getting the chance to share her Leesburg High School football pictures with many people through Facebook and the Leesburg Yellow Jackets Football blog.
"It makes me happy to do that because I know there are families out there that would love to have pictures of their boys playing football and can't get to the games or don't have the means to record those memories."
