Noor Davis is the prototype of Stanford recruit: He has a four-star ranking and a 4.5 GPA.
Had Stanford not reversed its football fortunes in the last few years, Barry J. Sanders probably would be following his Hall of Fame dad to Oklahoma State.

Aziz Shittu and Kyle Murphy might well have chosen USC, Joshua Garnett probably would be bound for Michigan, and Noor Davis to a Southeastern Conference school. Andrus Peat likely would have joined his brother at Nebraska.
