Leesburg In Super 16 Football Poll For The First Time In The Randy Trivers Era

LEESBURG - The Leesburg Yellow Jackets are in the Orlando Sentinel Super 16 High School Football Poll at #13 for the first time under Head Coach Randy Trivers. The program is starting to become a force to be reckon with in the Central Florida area. The road will get no easier for the Jackets as they travel to Clermont East Ridge High School Friday Night. The Knights (2-1) are the number #16 team in the poll and will provide a stern test for the undefeated Yellow Jackets.

The Jackets just completed the first of three straight road games with a 35-14 win over Mount Dora Friday night. The road doesn't get easier for Trivers and his Jackets, three of the remaining opponents are on the Super 16 watch list. Two of those three games will be on the road. They will face Orlando Maynard Evans and Bushnell South Sumter on the road. South Lake will visit the Jackets on October 28, 2011 the district championship may be on the line on that date.
