MOUNT DORA -- Coach Craig Cosden seemed to have the perfect defensive scheme for Mount Dora to slow Leesburg's talented multitalented offensive weapon, Jermaine Orr. But it was the rest of the Yellow Jackets that he had trouble tracking down Friday. Even though Mount Dora slowed Orr, last week's Orlando Sentinel athlete of the week, Leesburg was able to grind out a 23-0 win over the Hurricanes. Yellow Jackets safety Derrick Byrd deflected a Doug Hill punt that linebacker Brian Clamon returned 34 yards for a score in the third. Leonard Mickens rushed for more than 100 yards and added a fourth-quarter touchdown. Said Cosden: "Our biggest problem was that our offense could never punch it in against them, and, by the end of the game, our defensive guys were just exhausted."
